About Seven Sisters
The sights of the Seven Sisters, a series of chalk cliffs standing proudly over the English Channel, is a spectacular sight to behold. Located between Eastbourne and Seaford, in East Sussex, the cliffs are part of the Seven Sisters Country Park, which includes the Cuckmere, A259 coastline and various homes dotted around by quietness-loving residents. Birling Gap is east of the last peak, with a beach which is scenic but also dangerous if visitors are not careful, for there can be rapidly changing sea conditions and it’s easy to be cut off by the tide. Beachy Head and Belle Tout lighthouse are also nearby with the South Downs Way eeking its way over the cliffs. Seven Sisters has featured in several films including Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Atonement.
